Caller ID Prepend

Caller ID Prepend is a setting enabling a user greater visibility to group calls

It may be advantageous for an employee to know the specific department that an incoming caller is attempting to reach. Prepending the name of a Group to an incoming call’s caller-ID entry makes this information easily accessible to the person answering the phone.

  1. From the Groups tab, click on Group Features
  2. Select Caller ID prepend
  3. Tap Disabled to Enable
  4. Enter either the Name or Number prefix that you would like displayed on users devices when receiving group calls
  5. Click Save Changes
