Caller ID Prepend is a setting enabling a user greater visibility to group calls
It may be advantageous for an employee to know the specific department that an incoming caller is attempting to reach. Prepending the name of a Group to an incoming call’s caller-ID entry makes this information easily accessible to the person answering the phone.
- From the Groups tab, click on Group Features
- Select Caller ID prepend
- Tap Disabled to Enable
- Enter either the Name or Number prefix that you would like displayed on users devices when receiving group calls
- Click Save Changes
