Adding a Mobile Softphone (Smartphone)

The User Tab is where you can add a new Mobile Softphone (vis-a-vis Smartphone) to your account.

  1. Begin by Navigating to the Users tab in the Smart PBX App
  2. Navigate to the User you want to add the Mobile Softphone to
  3. In the column labelled Devices, click on the + New Device link
  4. Select Smartphone from the drop-down menu
  5. Enter the Device Name (i.e.: John's Mobile Softphone)
  6. Add the Mobile Phone number (ensure to add +1 before the number)
  7. Click Create Device
  8. Instruct your user to download the Mobile App (from their Smartphone) from https://newtcloud.ca/downloads/

 

* Alternatively, you can start from the Devices Tab to create the device and then assign to a user*
